City Hotel Rembrandt Leiden, Leiden

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfy, but some improvements could be made like moving the coffee machine for better accessibility. The lack of normal heating was a downside, as only warm aircon was available.

During my stay, the hotel's location was excellent, just a 5-minute walk from Leiden Centraal train station, providing quick access to various facilities, restaurants, and the Volkenkunde Museum. The rooms were uniquely designed, offering ample hot water for showers. However, they may not be suitable during extreme weather conditions. The hotel's dining options were a mix of nice selections, but the experience was marred by yesterday's fruit salad and unfriendly staff. Overall, the central location and comfortable amenities are the highlights, despite potential noise in the area.

The hotel is perfectly situated, just a short walk from the station and Beestnmarkt, offering spacious and quiet rooms that are newly refurbished. The view of the windmill from the top of the building is a great bonus. The dining experience was a bit lackluster due to the reconstruction of the cafe, but homemade bread was a highlight.

Upon arrival, the room was very cold as the heater was not working, but the staff promptly sorted it out for me. The room was small with a single bed, and I encountered an issue with the lights. However, the location was perfect for exploring Leiden, being close to the city center and various attractions.

The hotel offers rooms that feel a bit overclassed for the price, but the location is fantastic, being right in the city center and close to all attractions. The dining options could be improved, especially with more cooked items available, but the service is efficient. Overall, it's a good choice for a convenient stay in Leiden.
